Before joining SSMC, Dr. Deepthi worked in renowned hospitals across multiple countries including India, Bahrain, and the UAE. After receiving her Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Kerala, India, she underwent post graduate training in Clinical and Medical oncology, community oncology and palliative oncology certified by National Board of Exams, India and received multiple certifications in Medical Oncology from UK, Europe, etc. With 17 years of total experience and 13 years in oncology, Dr. Deepthi has managed a wide spectrum of cancer patients, including all solid tumor malignancies and hematological malignancies excluding acute leukemia.
