Dr. Hala Sharaf, M.B.BcH., Ph.D., M.Sc., M.R.C.P., is a consultant cardiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Sharaf possesses 16 years of well-versed experience and obtained an M.Sc. in health services research and evaluation, followed by a Cambridge University clinical Ph.D. in cardiovascular medicine and clinical pharmacology. In addition, she then completed her UK M.R.C.P. examinations and full higher specialist training with accreditation in cardiac imaging. Dr. Sharaf has received several distinction prizes and awards, including the prestigious Cambridge Commonwealth trust fellowship, the ORS full scholarship and HRH Prince of Wales Commonwealth Malaysian Cambridge ‘Scholar of the year 2000’. She has also received multiple practice-based awards throughout her career.
