Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmed FRCP, MRCPS, SCE, FCPS, MBBS, is a Specialist Gastroenterologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Ahmed is an experienced Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with over 18 years of experience. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex GI cases and offers comprehensive care for patients across the spectrum of gastrointestinal complications. In addition, he performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies as well as colorectal cancer screenings. Dr. Ahmed is both a Fellow and Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and obtained an SCE (Specialty Certificate in Gastroenterology) in 2015.
