Dr. Al Sharqi has over 10 years of experience in the field of internal medicine following the completion of her studies. She specializes in diabetes, hypertension, complex medical conditions and acute medicine in emergency, inpatient and outpatient clinics. In addition to her medical practice, she is the Medical Director of the B6 unit and an adjunct lecturer at Gulf Medical University and Khalifa University. She is a faculty member for residents in the Internal Medicine Program at SSMC and a member of the Clinical Competency Committee, Program Evaluation Committee and the Tissue and Transfusion Review committee. Furthermore, Dr. Al Sharqi is the Assistant Clerkship Director at Khalifa University and has a special interest in medical education. She serves as an external examiner at Gulf Medical University.
