Dr. Alahmad completed her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). She is Arab Board Certified in Gastroenterology and both Arab and Jordanian Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Furthermore, she is also the Associate Director of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Associate Director of Research in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Dr. Alahmad was selected to join the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Journal (GIE) Mentee Program in 2021-2022 and received the ‘Most Outstanding Reviewer Award’ in the ‘GIE New and Mentee Reviewer Category’ by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). She has multiple publications and has presented posters in local and international meetings.
