Dr. Elhabiel completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited General Surgery residency programme at Tawam Hospital and Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City (STMC). He is board-certified in General Surgery through the Emirati Board, Jordanian Board, and Arab Board programmes.

He has experience in the assessment and management of a broad range of general surgical conditions and is committed to delivering patient-centred care supported by evidence-based clinical practice. His training includes experience in both the UAE and the United States, providing him with exposure to diverse healthcare systems and complex clinical cases.
