The endocrine surgery at SSMC combines interdisciplinary approaches
with endocrinology and medical oncology, exhibiting exceptional proficiency in treating
all endocrine gland disorders. Comprising a team of board-certified surgeons, our
experts are highly recognized in their fields. As part of our practice, we manage both
benign and malignant thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland conditions, using minimally
invasive techniques such as microwave and radiofrequency ablation. In addition, our team
is able to perform minimally invasive resection of the adrenal gland using techniques
such as keyhole surgery and robotic surgery.
Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) is a two-day, interactive course, which includes mandatory, pre-course e-learning. It covers the practical skills and knowledge that health care professionals need to effectively care for surgical patients, including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.
