Dr. Amel Kheir, M.D., MRCPuk, M.Sc., M.B.B.S., is a specialist physician in the
infectious diseases and tropical medicine department at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City
(SSMC) in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Robert Serafino Wani Swaka (M.B.B.S.), (M.Sc.), is a consultant in infectious
diseases and the chair of the infection prevention committee at SSMC.
Dr. Zahir Babiker (M.B.B.S.), (M.Sc.), (D.L.S.H.T.M.), (M.R.C.P.), (F.R.C.Path.),
(F.R.C.P), (D.T.M.&H.), is a consultant in infectious diseases and interim division
chair for tropical and infectious diseases at SSMC.
Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCrISP) is a two-day, interactive course, which includes mandatory, pre-course e-learning. It covers the practical skills and knowledge that health care professionals need to effectively care for surgical patients, including those who are deteriorating or at risk of doing so.
