With 18 years of experience, Dr. Sarwar has extensive expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
Since March 2013, he has been serving as a plastic surgeon and programme director of the Plastic Surgery FCPS (Fellow of the College of Physicians and Surgeons) training programme at Shifa International Hospital, a prominent 600-bed tertiary care facility in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Dr. Sarwar’s clinical practice encompasses a broad range of procedures, with a focus on complex reconstructive surgeries, including head and neck, breast and brachial plexus reconstructions, as well as aesthetic enhancements such as rhinoplasties and body contouring. His expertise extends to both microsurgical and non-microsurgical techniques.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Sarwar actively teaches medical students, house surgeons and post-graduate trainees. He has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences and has participated in various advanced courses and workshops, underscoring his commitment to ongoing professional development in plastic surgery.
