Dr. Sadek has over 30 years’ experience in international clinical practice, and he has served in leadership and academic roles for over 14 years. He has extensive global experience in France, Australia and the Middle East in various clinical care sectors that include public, private, academic and tertiary institutions.

Dr. Sadek was awarded the Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anesthetists (FANZCA 2003) and a Clinical Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship from Australia and holds a Fellowship in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia and ICU from the Faculté De Médecine De Brest, Université De Bretagne Occidentale, France.

Furthermore, he has advanced training and expertise in cardiac anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia. Additionally, Dr. Sadek specializes in leading and facilitating the development of department services in line with world-class standards to respond to the needs of patients in a culturally sensitive manner. In 2021, Dr. Sadek led his obstetric anesthesia team to be awarded the ‘Center of Excellence’ by The Society of Obstetric Anesthesia & Perinatology (SOAP 2021).
