Dr. Ehsan completed his higher specialty training in anesthesia, ICU and pain medicine under the Royal College of Anaesthetists’ CCT program, UK. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in obstetric anesthesia at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, one of the largest hospital trusts in Europe.

With over 25 years of clinical anesthesia experience, his previous roles include serving as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, UK and Al Ain Hospital.

At SSMC, Dr. Ehsan covers all aspects of anesthesia services. In collaboration with the Burns Team, ICU, and DoH, he is actively involved in the establishment of the National Burns Service at SSMC. Dr. Ehsan also serves as the lead anesthesiologist for the complex Microvascular Free Flap procedure. Outside his clinical practice, he regularly participates in teaching activities, both individually and as a group, for interns/residents, medical students and paramedics.
