Before joining SSMC, Dr. Fischer was a Consultant Pediatrician at Mayo Clinic Minnesota for over 20 years. He is a clinician and an educator and his research findings have enhanced the prevention, treatment and awareness of chronic fatigue in adolescents, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. Dr. Fischer has published over 200 papers and articles on travel and tropical medicine, nutritional deficiencies and adolescent health.
