Dr. Madkour has 20 years of experience in the field of transfusion medicine. She started at the Egyptian National Blood Transfusion Service, and then joined the Kuwait Blood Transfusion Administration Services, contributing significantly to critical areas such as immunohematology, therapeutic apheresis, and the collection and preparation of blood and blood components. She holds memberships in the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies and the National Association of Healthcare Quality. She has previously worked as the head of donation and apheresis departments for a decade in Kuwait, Dr. Madkour ensured the safety and efficacy of blood products. She actively participated in quality assurance activities and clinical audits and obtained the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
